NEW ENGLAND FALL FOLIAGE TOUR

This is a beautiful foliage tour through all of the New England States. Niagara Falls, NY is our first major stop on this fabulous trip. According to the official Niagara Falls State Park website, a mind-boggling 681,750 gallons of water goes over just the Horseshoe Falls section of Niagara each and every second.  After enjoying Horseshoe Falls, the American Falls, and a powerful experience on the ‘Maid of the Mist’ boat to the falls, we’ll overnight at the Seneca Resort & Casino in Niagara Falls, NY. We then will then travel to Alexandria Bay, NY for a 2-night stay at Capt. Thomson’s Resort, located on the shores of the St. Lawrence Seaway. This is the entryway for all ocean-going ships into the Great Lakes.  Here, we’ll enjoy a visit to Boldt Castle and take a 2-hour Uncle Sam’s American Narrows Boat Cruise on the St. Lawrence River. The breathtaking beauty of the Adirondack Region of New York awaits us after departing Alexandria Bay.  Our next lodging is the beautiful Lake Placid Resort in Lake Placid, NY. After a ferry crossing on Lake Champlain from New York into Vermont, we will stop at Montpelier, VT for lunch and shopping, and visit a maple syrup farm store. Then we will take a beautiful drive across the Kancamagus Highway of New Hampshire. This 32-miles is one of the most scenic drives in New England.  In Portland, ME, we’ll tour the city and also the nearby village of Kennebunkport.  We’ll also take a day trip to Boothbay Harbor and Freeport to visit the LL Bean Flagship Store.  In Massachusetts, a city tour of Boston is on our schedule, as well as time for lunch and shopping at Quincy Market and a two-night stay on Cape Cod. While at the Cape, a whale watching excursion from Provincetown, will highlight the day. A few years ago, we added a guided tour of a cranberry grower’s farm. This has become very popular with our guests.  In Newport, RI, we’ll enjoy a self-guided tour of the Vanderbilt Mansion “The Breakers.” Our return home will take us through the heavily-forested areas of Northern Pennsylvania for more beautiful foliage.  This tour has breathtaking views, fun activities, relaxation and much more!

Includes: Lodging, deluxe motorcoach transportation, activities mentioned, six (6) dinners, breakfast each morning, and beautiful foliage!
