GENERAL INFORMATION

 

ReservationsRESERVATIONS SHOULD BE MADE THROUGH OUR OFFICE BY CALLING 217-228-8785 OR (OUT-OF-TOWN) 1-800-805-8766.  If you are traveling with someone (whether it be a day trip or multiple day trip), please tell us at the time of your reservation, so we will be able to seat you together on the bus and at the event. 

 

Payments PAYMENTS SHOULD BE SENT TO GOODWIN TOURS, 821 OHIO ST, QUINCY, IL  62301. 

After registering for a multiple day tour, a deposit should be sent to Goodwin Tours to confirm your reservation.

  

Multiple Day Trips – Prices are per person, double occupancy.  The single, triple, or quad price is available upon request.  After reservations are made, we will send a registration form, which should be completed and returned with your deposit within 14 days to confirm your reservation.  Please be sure to sign the form.  On most tours, the balance is due no later than 30 days prior to departure.  For tours that include airline tickets and/or cruise fares, we will inform you of the deposit due, the balance due date, and cancellation deadline at the time of registration.   We highly recommend travel insurance.  An insurance brochure will be sent with each registration form.  If you wish to purchase travel insurance, please call our office (not Travelguard) to book the insurance.  Also, be sure to check your intention to purchase or not to purchase insurance and sign in the insurance section of the registration form.  On multiple day tours, we rotate seats daily.  Luggage handling is included on most overnight trips.  An itinerary, luggage tags, etc. will be mailed to you prior to departure.

 

Day Trips – Prices are per person.  On most day trips, full payment is due 30 days before departure.  For some day trips, payment may be required sooner than 30 days out.  Seating on the motorcoach and at events is based on date of receipt of payment.  Seat tags will be put up on the motorcoach in payment order from front to back.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY: 

 

Multiple Day Trips:  The following CANCELLATION FEES will apply:  90 days or more:  full refund; 30-89 days prior to departure:  full refund minus air tickets and/or cruise penalty, if any; 15-29 days prior to departure:  cost of air ticket and/or cruise penalty plus 20% of remaining tour cost; 1-14 days prior to departure:  cost of air ticket and/or cruise penalty plus 40% of remaining tour cost; Day of departure or after departure:  No refunds

 

One Day Trips:  We will accept cancellations for day trips within 30 days of departure only if there is a waitlist, and we are able to resell your seat at the time of cancellation.  A $20 per seat administrative fee will apply.

 

Motorcoaches – Motorcoaches are scheduled to arrive 30 minutes prior to departure with boarding approximately 15 minutes before departure.  All motorcoaches are strictly Non-Smoking.  All motorcoaches are bathroom-equipped; however, we make stops often and ask that passengers use the facilities at these break stops. 

 

Gratuities -  Driver, Escort and Step-on Guide tips are not included in tour prices and are at your discretion. A suggested guideline is 1-3 dollars per person per day depending on the level of service you feel you have received. Tips for included meals on tour are prepaid.
